About Paradigm Project
Paradigm Project is a charity working to build an education system free from systemic barriers. We focus on prevention, safeguarding, and upstream responses to complex challenges within education and youth systems.
Our work brings together lived experience, research, and delivery to create meaningful systems change.
The Role
We are seeking a Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees and provide strategic oversight of the organisation’s financial governance.
The Treasurer works closely with the Chair and CEO to ensure robust financial controls, transparent reporting, and strong financial decision-making as the organisation grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial governance and controls
- Lead the annual budgeting process
- Review quarterly financial reports
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and funder requirements
- Oversee restricted and unrestricted funds
- Support financial risk management with the Chair
- Contribute to board-level strategy and decision-making
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applicants who bring:
- Strong financial or accounting experience
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly
- An understanding of Charity Governance and the role of the trustee in a small charity
- Sound judgement and a collaborative approach
- A commitment to Paradigm Project’s mission and values
- Previous trustee or Treasurer experience is desirable but not essential
Time Commitment
Approximately 4–6 hours per month.
